Hello,

I think, You not need the pcb, you need professional help to solve the platter/head problem instead!

I want to try to swap the PCB board, as it has worked for me in the past.
Thanks for your comment.

Anyone have this hard drive? Thanks!

In this model a simple pcb swap is useless.
The pcb have some unique data, and you need to transfert this to the other.
Unless you have made another artifical problem(s).
Additionally, i am sure, your drive have head and/or surface problems....
(if you try your good pcb on another working simiar drive, that can be clicking again, because you have not match the unique data.)

Have you done any PCB Swapping before? I have two times, and it worked both times. Thanks! Please pardon my ignorance. Is Seagate different from Maxtor PCB swapping?

I have read that clicking can sometimes be caused by a PCB problem. I may have touched the PCB to something, as the hard drive was in an open enclosure outside of the PC. Thanks!

1st q: Yes, about some hundred times. :)
2nd q: yes, it is differs. Maxtor have only some boot code in the pcb, and almost the entire is replaced from the SA, not like seagate.
