ST3250823A troubles

Good day gurus,

This drive spins up does not recognize and does not ID on PC3k. Have donor and hotswapped PCB. Donor goes to ready. Swap Donor PCB with Patient PCB and ran DE. Drive goes to busy when DE started and powers off. I believe w/ Seagate, there is a microcontroller chip issue. Is that correct and if so, is the Microcontroller the 4 sided 16 pin per side chip that is a SMOOTH with 100317176? Not finding much info on this drive.

Thanks for your time.
