If heads, usually site code, P/N, and HDA P/N are sufficient with this series.

If PCB, site code, firmware, and number on the white PCB sticker are enough.

Thanks, I'm still new in this business.

How about the Site Code? I have a donor drive that everything matching except the Site Code.

WHen I tried the different firmware and P/N and HDA P/N, the head didn't work. It stopped clicking but spins up for a few seconds but the motor goes off and the drive won't get detected by the BIOS.

In my limited experience, Site Code is perhaps the most important factor.

How about if F/w is 3.54, 3.76 , 8,54 and 8.76
if you know what this f/w mean... finding a head compatibility is not so difficult..
