Seagate ST3160215A 160GB Ultra ATA PCB Card Help

i have a seagate barracuda 7200.10 st3160215a firmware 3.aac hard disk but now the pcb of this hard disk is short circuited and i want to recover the data from this hard disk , and i have one more pcb of same configuration but only the firmware is differ this hdd is having 3.aad firmware but mine is of 3.aac firmware when i change the pcb my hard disk spins but not detected by computer is it possible to change the firmware ? or from where i can get the same pcb.

If the pcb is same you can swap the ROM chip which contains firmware data for your drive .
If you can post the picture i can tell you whare the ROM chip is located .

but then the pcb got tampered and this will void warranty , plz give me the another solution. and tell me one more thing i also have one more pcb of same configuration but that is of sata hdd can i use that pcb on my ata hdd.

but bro is it not possible that i can get the data and warranty both. because if i change the rom the my 1 pcb will be wasted.

There are plenty of places on the internet that sell PCBs or whole drives. If you're not willing to deal with the ROM then that will not help you.
