Need professional help

March 25th, 2009, 11:03

I have a 80 GB Hitachi ATA drive (used in an Inspiron laptop) which has a mechanical failure. (This was diagnosed by Frys in the SF Bay Area.) They recommended I send it to Drive Savers.

My questions:

1) Has anyone dealt with Driver Savers? What was your experience like?

2) Could anyone recommend a different data recovery professional?

Thanks

ebarbour,

If you need another local company, I would recommend you call DRG at 510-347-1010. I also can help you in SoCal, at DataMechanix, 800-886-2231. We are considerably chaeper than Drivesavers, and offer faster service.
