Don`t think so.

You need to look out for the head map as well .. There are 3 combinations of heads...

0.1.2
0.2.3
1.2.3

You may get a perfect label match then find it has the wrong head map. You can check in module HS to see the number of surfaces and the head map.

The MHT2060ATs that I have all have 4 physical heads. There shouldn't be any problem swapping them out with similar 4-head or even 3-head (if such things exist) models. Head map is irrelevant as long as you're not doing PCB swap. If in fact you find a 3-head donor then you would, of course, need to make certain the physical orientation of the heads are the same in donor and patient.

the broken drive have 4 heads (0,1,2,3). when i received the drive only h3 was bad so i already have an image with the first 3 heads, unfortunately i did not get all the data that the client was asking. my problem now is to find a donor to complete the image. i think msurgeon is wright about the 4 heads drive. i hope the two are compatible for head swap even if the entire (fw) code don't mach.
thanks
