my Hitachi hard disk not detect and make some noice

Dear guys iam a student in sri lanka

my hard disk is not detected by my computer,it is a 250GB Hitachi Deskstar HDT722525DLA380 Hard Disk,it make some noice like "tick tick",i can't find anyone in sri lanka to solve this matter,so that's y i ask from you yaar please help me to get atleast my data back,coz it contains my whole 3d animation projects,so please help me,please.........
my operating system is windows xp,
if u know some way that can recover my data back please help me to do that dosthe.. :P :P

well on first unplugged i had check some models on hitachi with Head Crash -> "magnetic coating layer destruction" , if its this problem´s cannot be solved DIY, by the "syntomphs" if knocks continuisly could be a MHA problem, but if knocks some times and reach readiness that could be means H0 its working but anyway u need to find a DR Proof Company near to u location

There are many experts here in this forum from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia. Otherwise you have to send it abroad. Honestly, there is little you can do with these symptoms.
