ST3160212A spinning but not recognised in bios

April 12th, 2009, 19:31

My HD was working till yesterday. All of a sudden it died. Bios does not see it. I can hear it spinning.
Is there a way I can revive it to retrieve some data.? Like pcb swap or firmware repair?

Thanks for your help.

Tom
