Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 failed to PC

April 13th, 2009, 14:49

I have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 that I removed from a Seagate FreeAgent. The Freeagent stopped working so I assumed it was a broken USB / or eSata board or broken power. Something like that and I need to get at the data so I got the drive out of the case and plugged it into a PC. The PC wouldn't boot, the cpu fan twitched but didn't start. Unplugged hard drive after pc switch off etc. and PC started. So I only assume that it is a fault on the PCB.

What are you thoughts ? Can anyone recomend anything ?
