I need help with seagate St3160023as

May 21st, 2009, 16:53

I have two identical st3160023as with the same firmware (3.18).
One of them stop work and is not detected by BIOS ( take to long to bios detect and if the HDD is pluged on board, the other hd is not detected too) after read some same problems here on forum, I decide to swich the PCB of the HDDs, but without success. With the original controller back to the defective HDD, I realize that the motor spin up, but the problem remain. I would apreciate any help.
Thanks
