HDD screwed up during HDD backup. Loosing HDD and the image

May 24th, 2009, 7:21

HDD: Fujitsu S-ATA Type: MHW2080BJ

During my backup season the HDD dies and it messed up also the Image.
After removing the HDD and connecting it external I find out, the Motor is not spinning anymore

I've removed the controller and inspected it under the magnification Scope but I could not find any abnormal or burned parts.
I replaced the controller with an exactly equally HDD.
Now the Motor is turning again but DHH is not recognized at all. Not in the Bios and of course not as an USB Drive.

To access the HDD I used different Tools, but no way.

Of course I be in need of the HDD Contends

Any Ides?
Any Idea how the Controller controls the Motor. Posibly to repair it or supply direct Voltage to the Motor. Tehre are 4 connectors to the Motor.

Tks
greetings from Switzerland
