Maxtor DiamondMax 22 FW: MX15 locked.

June 16th, 2009, 3:49

Dears,

I have strange problem with Maxtor DiamondMax 22 FW: MX15.

I can hear the motor starts and it can calibrate with no problems but the drive is not recognized in BIOS.

I suspected standard firmware failure, unfortunately all procedures failed.

After the power is on I have double rows on the terminal:
LED:000000cc Faddr:0024a051
LED:000000cc Faddr:0024a051
After aprox. 30 secs I get the same row and so on.

When I am trying to use Ctrl+Z nothing happend.

I was trying to use only PCB, separate motor pins from PCB and signal pins with no effect on the terminal (empty).

Ctrl+Z also doesn't work.

I tried to link holes on PCB as PC3000 documentation describes with no effect.

Can you help me to resolve this problem, please?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Regards,
Rafal
