ATA HD-Password via Windows Programs?

I know that most laptop bios can do this, but...I have a desktop bios that doesn't support this feature.

Does anyone know of a program that will unlock/lock a SATA hard drive (via ATA commands) in windows?

Possibly not how you want to do this, but a program like
Victoria v4.46 which is free can lock/unlock any hard drive
in Windows, if you must.

If you want to get the ATA commands to unlock drives you will need
to buy a program like pc3000, atola, but of course these developers will
try to hide the ATA commands because they worth a bit of money in the market.

So obtaining the ATA commands for most or all drives is most unlikely for
one individual. Even some of the great gurus, and PROS don't have all
the ATA commands you ask about.

I already have a PC-3000/Shanobi for cracking, but I just want to lock/unlock in windows on the fly....

Is there a version that runs in windows? The one on the website, appears to be a dos boot-up disk.

Laptops usually send Security frozen command to a drive once they lock/unlock the drive
And to use Security commands after that you will need to re-power the drive but not a laptop itself

With desktops is easier - google ATA terminal

Tested on an old BX board, only merging it to BIOS image to make it run can be problematic.
