Hello there
I need help !!!
I have the next situation:
Have Samsung HM040HI it is SATA 2.5" at the begining start to appears many bad sectors(i have not make low level). At one beautiful moment it stops to be seen in the OS (Windows) and it start to make that noises of "HDD when cant be recognised " and stay on sata check several minutes before goes to start the OS.Now i can see it only in bios with all it's properties but not in windows sometimes not every time HDD chack at the start of the system prompt a message - capable but disabled for the given SATA.I try many tools for low level format and dos and windows stating with - "HD low level format tool", but nether one can see the HDD.Can you tell me what are my possibilitys and is there a soft that i can use.I don't need to keep the data on it i just need to make low level and make it useful again. :|

Thanks in future!

No. The drive needs to be serviced. Or discarded. I can fix it in Italy.
