compatible smooth?

i have a wd120BES with a burnt smooth L6284*2.2 990cr vp mys 99 633

i found close enough drive but the smooth is L6284*2.2 992uw vp mys 9 642

can i swap and pray it works?

if i swap it do ihave to alter anything in the firmware?

Could be but sometimes damaged to the spindle controller damage the MHA too

Not need to match 990cr vp mys 99 633 or 992uw vp mys 9 642
