Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hi everyone,
I have two, in good order, password protected HDD's:
ST9160411ASG (Momentus 7200.3), and
Fujitsu MHY2120BH
Have tried unlock them, but still unsuccessfully.
Even opened a topic on SD forum in the end of 2008:
http://www.salvationdata.com/forum/view ... f=22&t=162Got many smart hints, but they didn't help.
Question to everybody: is there any solution discovered to unlock these drives (by SD or PC3K)?

Thanks folks!
Data on these drives are not crucial and drives in good condition - just curious is there any solution or not. I'll keep the drives as donors.
To Doomer: I know your black magic

Hoping that SD and ACE add the solution in their production soon ... so in next six months. Same about MHY.
