Is there a hairline scratch on the inner ring of the platter by any chance?
And did the heads work back in the donor?

This drive has 3 heads so its not possible to find MD. Yes the heads worked back in the donor. I know MD is the most probable cause but this drive is not 'clicking' after it spins up.
