My laptop died, I have a Seagate Momentus 5400.4 hard drive, and I need to find the right enclosure ASAP to upload info and take comp in for repair before warranty is up. Thanks in advance for help.

Remove your hdd and take it to any local computer shop. They should find a correct enclosure for your drive.

I did and they gave me the wrong one.

At Seagate Momentus the most problems are
1.- Knocking endless...cannot solved DIY
2.- Doesnt knock but cannot be detect caused BSY, and its on a selftest process " CE Log, EC 43.. Adding sector to pending list.... Cannot solved DIY
3.- Bad sectors,
3.- Bad Media

I did and they gave me the wrong one.
Go back to them and ask for correct one.
Let them install your drive in it.
