MHDD do nothing

Hi all

I've got some problems with HDD on my notebook and after searching the internet, I find MHDD program
Using .iso image I create CD and start MHDD programm
Scanning shows that HDD have several bad sectors and I've decided to perform ERASE operation
But then strange thing appear
after ehtering ERASE command MHDD do nothing
even time in the corner was stopped
I thought that this commend was performed, but after 3.5 hours waiting I've rebooted notebook and I saw that OS was loaded (It means that no ERASE operation appears)
Then I've tried to enter SCAN comman once more, and I saw same result - MHDD do nothing

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Do you use the cd for booting, or for open from windows?

I use bootable DVD disk with iso image from official site
