this particular disk was rejected by one of the worlds' top 5 company. can any normal guru using available technology pc3k/ atola / custom tools can recover data?
hard disk -MK8032GSX , problem - microcontroller damaged- reason for rejection - embedded rom cannot be accessed as microcontroller is damaged.

maybe,

depending on the exact type of damge. But not with software/hardware complex as you mentioned. Most likely It got rejected because it would be too time consumming for the DR center. But hypothetically speaking a few possible options are available

I haven't seen it .

P.S. The fact that a flash is embedded in that nasty Marvell chip doesn't mean it would be impossible to get data out of the drive. Of course, likely they concentrate on easy case and drop the most complicated one.

P.P.S. if you want to solve complicated or "impossible" case, move from industry standard DR to craftsmen DR.

Have you done such type of jobs before? What is your strategy besides " proprietory hardwares & softwares" ?

Simple : need only time and devotion to a project. Otherwise, I would have waited (and maybe I would have been still waiting) for a third party solution.

P.S. don't ask me. I don't know nothing.

Yes, don't ask BlackST for help. He is too busy playing with his probe . . .

Luckily I don't "play" alone.... but for women only !!

P.S. can a professional differential probe cost as much as the DDA/scope ? Yes, it can  GRRRRR !!!!

Bought mine used on eBay for about $500. Scope was $4500. Seemed like a reasonable ratio.
