ST31000340AS - 1TB - FAT32

Hi to all,

i have this disk the client was using a Mac computer and said that the folder " dissapear "

i notice that some sectors have this on it:

SD81.jpg



Anyone happen something like this.

Also the FW off this disk is affected by the seagate bug, dont know if can do something in the data.

It looks like something write in theses sectors, anyone knows wich program can do this ?

yes the client told me that a folder should have 400gb off data but i just can found 37gb.

And when i edit the sector i see that like i show in the picture, and normally it should have a 00.

well, looks like some one run´s a write sectors test.

I agree, someone ran a test on the drive where it writes to sectors, and then checks to make sure that the sectors that where written correctly.


Someone has tampered with this drive before it came into your hands.

I could get the most important data off the client 80% off the current work that he was doing.

Case closed, one more happy client :)
