WD1600AAJS-22PSA0

I have a 160GB WD HD that I need data off of. I sent it off to a data recovery company and they informed me that the drive was unrecoverable due to severe scoring(???) on the hd firmware platter area. I am curious if you all could recommend another place i can send it to for a second opinion; or am I just SOL. On one hand I want to keep trying; on the other hand I don't want to keep throwing money out of the window. The company that I sent it to was Gillware Inc. in Wisconsin. If you all have a place you'd recommend, Im all ears. Thanks for your time and advice

Hello,

If the drive was not opened before goes in to this dr company, maybe i can help.
The diagnose is free in my lab, you need to pay only for the shipping.
If the SA is "scored" i can imagine some solution wich can help in this case....

Regards,
Janos
