Maxtor OneTouch 4 640GB, windows/linux not detected.

Hi guys, i hope this is the right section to explain my problem.

First, sorry for my bad english, i'm Italian!

Second, I've a Maxtor OneTouch 4 640GB but it has decided to stop working after a format.

It's not more detected by windows/linux. Only on windows it is showed into periferics list but it not appear more into "my computer".

So, i can't access the drive.

I can't format it 'coz i can't see it neither with low level format programs.

I don't know what can be the problem, but i hope it can be reversible. I've tried HDD with 3 computers, so the HDD is the problem, please help me!

Guys, now i see Hard disk with Maxotr Program but still i can't format it.. how can i solve?

If you don't need data from your drive, get a new drive and move on.
You won't be able to repair it.

vorrei solo sistemare l'hard disk, dei dati non mi importa nulla...

Get a new drive, if data is not important and move on.
