Maxtor diamond max plus 9 80gb

hi all
i have a drive thatg would not show id and any data.
i started with pc3000 and was able to use the recovery tool to get the drive to show below

Recovery process has been interrupted



from there i cant go any further.
during drive startup it will clikc and spin down several times and then show me the above after the firmwre repair.

after it starts up it bewcmoes ready, stops clickng but cant go any firther.

any thoughts will eb appreciated.

just noticed there is a big scratch on the drive right where the heads are parking.

any hope ?
