WD DCM code - Which letters matter?

October 27th, 2009, 6:54

I am swapping heads on a WD400BB-60DGA0. Patient DCM was HSBAHV2AH and doner was DSBHNV2CH. No luck. I am told different stories about which letters must match.

Any advice would be appreciated.

(or perhaps I have to spend a lot more time jigging the top cover?)

Thanks
GB

The lenght is different too. :)
