Hi to all,
Need to exchange the platter in a Seagate 1Tb disk, that have the motor stuck.
D - THAILAND
P - CHINA
i need to match the rotor latch and frequency ?, or i do not have to take car about that ?

That's a good question.
I don't know, but my guess would be that since you move the platters and you don't have a site code match you will also need to move the HSA. Maybe someone else can clarify things with more certainty in regards to motor match.

you don't need to match it
Brinks base also works fine for Moose drives and vise versa

Hi to all,
I have made the platter swap from Brinks base to Moose base.
But the heads from the Donor had problem so i order a new disk with the site code matching, but i get a refusrbish disk, had change the heads notice that the PREAMP is different and i can not get ID.
Anyone was get sucess with this ?

i also had same problem i swapped Platters it shows Head Problem waiting for head.
