FWIW these are usually massive platter damage

If heads, match the 2 & 3 characters of the S/N.
If the drive starts up with 4 sharp clicks and spins down, I'm 95% sure you've got head / media damage.

Dear jono-ats are you referring to 2 & 3 characters of Serial number ? or model number or part number?
The start up and I hear a repeated clicking sound that goes on and on and the drive does not spin down.
The sound is something like this
tree-tak-teena tin
tree-tak-teena tin
tree-tak-teena tin

Serial number.
Pretty sure you've got head / media damage. Odds of successful recovery with these are low.

Agree with jono.
Recovered 1 or 2, but mostly too badly damaged.

Most of them have platter damage...
Some of them are recoverable.
