drivers for Apple Firmware compatibility

December 1st, 2009, 17:35

Hello,

I have recently seen a lot of Apple drives. And a perfect donor is sometimes hard to come by.
Has anyone done some compatibility research and can point me to the right path. I am sure that the Apple Firmware must be compatible with some Seagate FW as far as adaptives and head maps. I have some theories but not enough spare drives to test. I contacted Seagate but they did not provide any useful information (no surprise  ). Therefore I would like to discuss Seagate firmware matrix.

P.S. Also if anyone knows of a good apple drive source for donors I am all ears :D

PM is fine.

Thanks!
