Hi all,
which Diamondmax HDDs do have a serial terminal connection? Diamondmax 22 for sure, but how about the older models?

Generally all the maxtos have serial terminal, but it is differnet on generic maxtor architecture and on seagate technology.
What you are thinking for is a seagate series maxtor hdds.

Ok, I meant the simple terminal of the Seagates which delivers instant information on the drives health. A factory-use terminal connection which requires much more than a terminal software to make use of would be another story. So the DM9+ from my other thread would probably no candidate - I was not able to make out any data coming from the header pins at least.
