Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hi,
I have an 2GB SD card which freezes up the computer, and a 1tb hard drive in which all files and structure can be seen, however any recovery software says all data recovered and it comes up with 0 bytes for the file size.
Both are things the customer dropped off which are out of my abilities.
Please pm me with (approximate pricing and turn around times for these) I know you can't be exact, but I have received approximates from people in the past for jobs of 1100 and it was 2600 or 300 and it was 1000.

Frankly, there are so many variables in data recovery that, without examining the drives in question, guesstimates are a waste of your time and are usually low-balled to entice you into sending the estimator the drive. Just find someone you think trustworthy who does not charge for diagnostics (most, like us, don't) and send them the drives. If you find their pricing unsatisfactory you can send it elsewhere for a second opinion. As always, beware of prices that sound to good to be true because they usually are.
