problum with wd 400 hard disk

Dear friend

I am facing grate diffeculty to installed the window 98 or xp on my hard disk wd 400 cavilar (40gb), the massage shown run-time error r6003 -integer divided by 0 and no fdisk running or formating the disk and i attached with other computer to see in the hard disk 25 part is shown in the disk of 1006 mb and i only make 4 partition 15 gb2nd 8 gb 3rd 8gb,9gb but all deleted only one 15 gb is showing out of 4 one is ntfs and other is fat32, kidly guide how to create partition or format the disk. thaks

Assuming the drive is recognized by a PC, locate the Administrative Tools in the Control Panel and select the Disk Management feature, which will let you create or delete partitions.

Check the drive in MHDD,run surface scan. Post results here!
if you see !!!!! in all the blocks, the drive has probably FW problems.

thanks for all for reply, but the hard disk niether acessable nor i install any window in it, so what procedure i adopt to resolve this porblem even i attached with any other hard disk but not accesable.

I am afraid it is not possible to provide a step by step solution, as the exact problem is not possible to identify remotely.
In addition such guidance is far beyond the purpose of this forum.
So if the data is important U need to find a pro.
