Hexedited HDD.. how to get it to factory??

January 3rd, 2010, 10:36

Hello,

I am trying to get my Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB recognized by an Xbox360 Tool for windows! For that task, i had to play around with winhex to manipulate some offset values!

after doing this everything was fine! the prog found the drives hidden partition and all, but it was the wrong one, back at winhex, I calculated to where my Fat/Start offset is and edited it, but edited it wrong. After trying to format it in the xbox it tells me theres a problem and aborts the opperation. back in Paragon it deletes the partition but when creating a new one it take about 1 min, to finish the task.. back in 360 the same prob. persists....

My question now is...

What can i do to totally scratch the drive to normal/factory stage???

Do I have to just LowLevel Format the drive to clear my hexing bads??ß

Thank you for everything that helps!!
