ST3250310NS HPG1 FIRMWARE PROBLEM

January 21st, 2010, 13:55

Hello everybody!

I've tried everything, I was reading all the post about it and I couldn't repair this hdd: GB0250C8045, ST3150310NS, P/N: 9CA152-783, HPG1

I follow the tipical procedure for this hdd, ES.2. Without insolation, PCB and hdd, I did the short-circuit when I'm in the terminal, then I turn on and off the Hdd and the CTRL+Z and apear F3 T>
then /2 and Z. and then instead of LED 00000000CC apear LED 000000CE.

Why??

Thanks!!!

This could be beyond your scope to repair this drive. You should check in your area for a good DR shop and take it there to have them do this one for you. Should not be too much to have this done and might save your drive and data to have an expert do this one for you.
