Samsung Capacity Error

February 7th, 2010, 21:19

Hi All,

Having a Samsung 80GB HDD, it detected in BIOS correctly (model name) but it shows only approx 31GB under computer management. It has 2 partitions in total but it shows only 1 at the moment.

I've tried "HDD Capacity Restore", without luck. After power reboot it still show 31GB instead of its original capacity.

Any help/ hint will be very much appreciated

Thanks

Hint: Check to see if you have a partition table problem and repair it.

Maybe you have capacity restrict jumper enabled?
