Maxtor: Head Stack Removal

Hi,

I have got this Maxtor Drive:



I want to remove the headstack, but even when the heads are at the edge of the platters you can remove because of the platter itself.

Is it possible to get out with removing the platter?

You need to change the platter, and realign of course.
