Have WD800ADFD-75NLR1 Raptor and the when power applied you can hear a faint snap (electrical) underneath the PCB then drive shuts down right away. Any one know what needs to be changed on the PCB.

Your website states you have been doing data recovery since 1989, yet you do not know the criteria for simple PCB replacement?

Ensure family code is matched in donor PCB, and remember these drives have unique ROM...

I want to repair the board instead of spending $240.00US to get a donor.
Customer has limited funds.

Yes starts and then get the snap from the board. Does the same thing with a working drive.

Can we see a detailed photo of the component side of the board?

I will try to get it scanned in, there is no damage and it only happens with a load.
Off the top I believe it is Q10 I just have been short of time.
