Assuming a computer has firmware module corruption, what are the signs? Perhaps "unmountable disk volume" error? Does the drive show up in the BIOS or disc management (when connected to another computer)? Will HDDScan give true test results? Will a drive fitness test give true results?
Do software like GetDataBack and R-Studio have any chance of recovering data or an image off a drive with firmware module damage?
