The firmware on a Hard Disk is mostly unique to each disk, and is programmed specifically around individual Hard Disks and its properties. The Fimware cannot be 'flashed' like a BIOS, understanding of the firmware structure is required and specialist tools required to acces and repair if required. Definately not an easy task without the knowledge and skills required.

Why do you think you have firmware damage? What is wrong with your disk?

I can not format the disk,I tried many programs (include hdd LLF), but when it comes to the end gives me error.
I tried with hdd regenerator but after 4 hours had only 400 sector.with partition magic hangs when trying to update the disk
You have an idea?
regards

I have one idea - RMA this disk, and replace. Even if you are able to complete a format, I would not trust this HDD with any data.

RMA is Return Merchandise Authorization, you can not restor it.
You might want to return your drive to seller for replacement.
