ok, what to do in this situation?

I'm trying to do a block-level clone on a failing hdd. it goes for about 2-3GB then the app says it's unreadable.
I would absolutely LOVE a program that would pick up from where it left off. I only need to copy 27GB.

Pawn3d, are you still working on the same drive? You could use excel and VBA to pinvoke winio.dll and copy the data off.

Sometimes I think I am in the stone age when it comes to data recovery, then I read a post like this

I won't speak for everyone else but if you advertise data recovery services and then come in here asking such a rudimentary question IMHO you are a scam and/or fraud

Or, you say " did head swap 100's of times" and then you say I had professional data recovery firm to diagnose my problem. "That is why I feel professional to do the job."

No one posts here, because your question was answered before, in your previous post!

a little joke.

One lady comes to a famous Jewish lawyer and asks him...
-is that true that you charge $5,000.00 for 3 questions you answer?-
-Yes, mam.- He says.
-Don't you think this is too much?- she asked.
-No, mam.- He says.
-What is your third question mam?- he asked.
