OK I'll keep it brief:
Computer started with "NTLDR Missing" after power failure.
Tried copying file from XP cd to C:\
This worked until computer restarted then I was back to square one.
I tried using MHDD 4.5. I used the "clrmbr" function which "backsup" and clear my mbr.
Restarted my computer and nothing happened, computer just began to loop.
Booted up with Windows XP cd and tried the FIXMBR function.
Now computer displays message that it doesn't see my harddrive.
WTF did I do and how do I restore the mbr that was supposedly backedup?
SOMEONE please help!

Some clarifications:

(Copied two files: ntldr and ntdetect.com
This worked until computer restarted, then I was back to square one.
Computer Ran a Self-Check, Then restarted into a Loop
I tried using MHDD 4.5. I used the "clrmbr" function which said it backed up my mbr and clears it.
Restarted my computer and nothing happened, computer just began to loop.
Booted up with Windows XP cd and tried the FIXMBR function.
Now computer displays message that it doesn't see my harddrive.

I went through that here after a county-wide power failure.
Going to repair> and reloading the needed files worked 20% of the time. The drives were in the process of failing. We pulled the data off and wrote off the drives. I use them for parts now...
I'm curious to see how others might fix this.. assuming there is no hardware damage.. I find this on WD 1200** drives daily..
Maybe somebody has a brainstorm idea over our normal procedures?
