ST3500630AS Poss wrong power supply attached

Was in a Maxtor caddy , doesnt spin up

discolored/cracked chip.

I have a ton of ST Drives, any probability in swaping these chips?

what needs to match?

It is a TVS... Lots of threads about it...

Just take it off, recover data, replace drive.

in ur search ull see. 2 options. replace it or jump it. Gl m8. Hopefully only TVS died and nothing else.

im on it, pulled the bugger off (with the grace of a butterfly) , just going to plug it in , fingers crossed
