WD sata hard disk u to different sides

May 15th, 2010, 13:37

i don't know exectly how to describe my hard disk problem...
it started after i use "Extended Fdisk" to delete the c partition.
when i rebooted the computer the motherboard beeps and then shutdown.
i disconnected the hard disk from the motherboard and i felt that when i put him on my hand (connected to motherboard and power)he is unstable like a magnet that don't know which direction to go ,despite it is far enough from any metal .
does someone know what is the problem?

Caused by the spinning platters. Elementary physics.
Nothing to do with magnetism.

It's the disk spinning, nothing else. But the fact it is spinning doesn't mean it is working properly or detected.
