MX740-6 , SS stops ...

Scenario :

Maxtor MX740-6L, SS starts correctly (modules are not broken in this case as if you start it "as is" ends after start : "Selfscan Premium Pass" and quick flash ... very nice )
The error occurs after PES, WPC, airlock, Bode, resonance, something else that I don't remember and some optimization :

SSEC=00AC , FWEC =0000

any idea about who is the culprit or anybody had similar experience?

Note : at this point disk is almost tuned, but would be nice to make it end regularly :S

What makes it strange is the fact that it happens at the same place on many drives, all that happens is spspdchk , spindown and this error (led flashing at 1 sec. interval) . NOTE : cycling power resume SS but not from this point, it restarts - maybe something is not updated in logs or.... ?!?
Error lists are still not filled when this happens (cleaned them before starting). Drive is fully operational if you erase LBA with pattern and work fine (for what I can see). Checking servo and scanning surface then push into P would take a lot of time , this is why I want the drive to make it autonomously...

Any other idea ?

It happens like this in these drives but user area is OK at this point so the work is done my friend .

Starting thinking so, but I am stubborn. The problem is isolated now, only need to make everything work - servo check is painfully slow!
