Hard drive was working find when I shut it down last night. Came in this morning and hard drive not found in bios. The drive is spinning up just not being recognized. Will take it home and take off the pcb board and check to see if anything is out of the ordinary. Any other suspects beside the tvs? Thanks.

TVS is not bad, if TVS was bad disk would not spin

I suspect you are victim to common SA failure, this disk is part of 7200.11 series.

It looks like I may have been affected by the firmware issue that kills the drive. I will be seeing if seagate will fix it for free or try fixing it myself using this link

Most likely FW problem. If you have an important data just send it to a pro.
OR search this forum for the "busy" problem and do it on your own risk.
Good luck.
