Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hello everyone,
I have a WDC WD10 EACS-32ZJB0 case here. It is recognized by the BIOs correctly when connected as a slave and device manager sees it good. The device runs quite and so no distinguishable sounds. When trying to boot from a floppy it gives the error message "Secondary Master Hard Disc Error Press F1 to Resume" and does not boot. Now, is there anyway to recover the data without the PC-3k? cause data is urgent and my PC-3k won't arrive for another 2 weeks or so, Please help.

Sorry to say but you have to wait 2 weeks or outsource the drive as the problem with FW.
NO alternative options.
