Need help with HDD MAXtor

Hi guys....
am new to the forum
i need some help about a hard disk which contains lots of impotant data of

DIAMOND MAX PLUS 9
MAXTOR 80 gb ATA/133

SN: Y35K4SPC

TLA 6YO80L043232611

the prob is that i can longer access it :(

on bios it is detected as Maxtor calypso
but in my computer it is not there

i use windows xp professional
i dont what to do and where to start in order to repair it.
then i found this forum.
can you plz help if it is possible to be repair :)

Drives like this identify themselves to your BIOS with their family name which originates from the ROM. The potential problems are numerous, from firmware module header/checksum problems to bad sectors over the firmware area, head failure, motor problems and more.

You will need a pro for this, the cost of recovery against the cost of the tools and the knowledge (although not extensive) for this kind of repair will make a simple pro recovery seem like pocket change.

Drive is recognized by factory name. You can not fix this one on your own. You will need Pro help in this repair sorry to say this one to you.
