is that PCB problem?

hello. i have a Maxtor Plus8 40Gb. i connect it to the ddi and it is not recognised (the model and LBA when i press F11)
there is only an ERR report. i supose there is a PCB issue. any help would be appreciated

That model does not have PCB problems usually. Chance of PCB failure is 1 in a 200.

Agree more than likely it is in the modules of this drive. Do you have any other tools to work in the SA and fix this one with?

Did you make sure that the drive jumpers are set for master?

Check jumpers and try with Mhdd, if no joy check pcb then SA.
