chip wanted for TonkaMD from Seagate

August 13th, 2010, 8:23

Hello All,

I am looking for a chip that is on the back of a TonkaMD/Galaxy3D disk from Seagate.
It is a 500Gb SATA hard disk.
The drive seems to be good (visual) but i don't know.
I don't know why the chip is missing but i hope someone got a hard disk that is broke and is willing to remove the chip or that anyone can tell me where i can find this.
There is a file attached to see what i mean (the green part).

Regards,

Scubabinkie.

Only thing I can see is a missing capacitor at the top of the PCB.
