Hi, my Western Digital 1.0TB (SATA/16MB Cache, WD10EACS) Harddrive's PCB burnt out due to overpower. Could you please direct me where can I get a replacement PCB with similar firmware? Below is the HDD Details:

You know, there is adaptive information stored on the pcb relating to that specifc drive?
Just changing the pcb wont help.
If the data is valuable for you - have the drive checked by a pro. It might just be the
TVS to be replaced, but could be more. A pro has the necessary tools PLUS the knwledge
what and how to test.
If data is valuable - wouldnt gamble with it.

Upload a detailed photo of the component side. If the damage was contained by the TVS diode, then there is an easy no-cost DIY repair.

Attached is the PCB photo, encircled with RED is the D4 which was badly burnt and it looks like it damages the contacts on the board too.

Can you measure the resistance of the zero-ohm resistor R64 above the diode?
If R64 is open, then you can replace it with a 2A smt fuse or picofuse, or a wire link. If there is no other damage, the board should work OK. I'm assuming the diode didn't desolder itself during the overvoltage?
If you choose to replace the board, be aware that there are unique drive specific "adaptive" data inside the Marvell MCU (big "M"). These data will need to be transferred from patient to donor. This will require professional recovery.

Do I have to desolder the R64 diode when measuring it? D4 was badly burnt and was disoldered from the board. Also, I can't read the value of D4 diode, do you happen to know what value should I replace it with?

R64 is a resistor. There is no need to remove it when measuring it. It should measure 0 ohms.
D4 is the 12V TVS diode. The drive will work without it, but it will no longer have any overvoltage protection on the 12V rail. For continued protection, you can replace it with an SMBJ12A from Farnell, Mouser, Digikey.
That said, the fact that the diode desoldered itself would suggest that the overvoltage may have caused further [invisible] damage, particularly in the area of the SMOOTH motor controller chip.

Hi fzabkar,
The reading of both R64 and R67 is 0 ohms. Will that mean that there are other damage on the board? D3 diode is tested OK.
Any other suggestion?

I have removed D4 completely and installed the board back and VIOLA! It works!
