Data recovery tools

I have an enclosure with Hitachi SATA 1TB hard disk in it.
The HD failed while it was writing Data.
I tried plugging the HD into the Desktop but the bios didn’t even see it,

I’m not planning to open it, otherwise I’ll void my HD warranty
The problem of course is the Data los
Is there any tool that you can recommend that might “force” the HD to be recognized..I need to at least get a full list of my Data..

What do you want to open? The hard drive?? Don't do that!

Or do you want to open the enclosure? You will need to open it and take the hard drive out.

There is not tool to force it to recognize.. but there are tools used by pros to try and repair it- depends on the problem too though.

Ya the Hard drive
I'm not planning to open it.. I can open the enclosure to take it out and plug it to the motherboard

I contacted companies , but the price range is very high..please let me know what kind of tools that can be used for the Bios to see it.

the sad reality is that was my Backup drive

Well take it out of the enclosure and plug it directly to your computer and see if it shows in the bios by model number. If it does not show you have some issues that cannot be resolved by home methods. Buying some equipment will cost the same as recovery and chances are lower than paying for recovery.

You will have to loose the warranty.... Its ironic inst it..

Ya, it doesn't show in the BIOS...I was hopping for any trick that might allow me to at least figure out whats on it....

Well if it shows in bios then you can recover the data using recovery software. Mentioned in the software part of this forum.
Its important not to initialise your disk if windows ask todo it. important not todo anything that will write to it.
If bios sees it and windows reports it there in Device Manager- then its ok-- but the parition info coudl have been corrupted.

Try RStudio Demo? Or OnTrack Data Recovery Demo- something like that-- it should rebuild your tree and let you copy what you need.
